- Ingredients:
- 3 pots of plain yogurt (125g each)
- 2 large eggs
- 150g sugar
- 100g flour
- 50g butter (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, eggs, and sugar. Whisk until smooth.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the yogurt mixture while stirring gently.
- Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and lemon zest. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
